The Marius JDM-5X board is a PC-Only custom PCB designed for the DualShock 4 controller to deliver the fastest connection and input experience possible.

The standout feature of the JDM-5X is a native 8k polling rate, making 3rd-party Overclocking software unnecessary.

Battle Beaver will only use ALPS thumbstick mechanisms during new installations, and offers three variants available for purchase:

MIDAS HE (5 pin): A robotics Hall Effect sensor optimized for accuracy with additional sensor lanes.

Magneto TMR (3 pin): Well-received Battle Beaver TMR modification promoted by professionals.

ALPS OEM (3 pin): Original manufacturing, tried and true but will develop thumbstick drift sooner than other sensors.

Additionally, the board requires a wired connection to a Rear I/O port with a USB-C to A cable. Connections to a case USB port or a USB hub are incompatible. All new Battle Beaver x Marius controllers are bundled with a generic 10ft USB-A to USB-C for use.

The JDM-5X can be configured via the setup link with on-board settings including:

• Up to six (6) Remappable Rear Buttons
• Inner + Outer Deadzone Settings
• Customizable Stick Curve Response

As this is a custom board, it is important to note that controllers built with this WILL NOT HAVE the following:

• Console connectivity
• Bluetooth connection
• Macros / Keybinding
• Rumble / Vibration
• Touchpad Tracking
• Gyro Input
• Battery
• Reset Button
